I am an engineer by training but I have always had a love for art, history and heritage as well. Horology is the ideal combination of these disciplines and I soon found out that my passion is for restoring antique clocks and other scientific instruments. When I first started working on clocks as a hobby I was astounded by the ingenuity and craftsmanship that went into making these instruments in a time when only hand tools were available. This appreciation has only grown as I have seen more clocks over the years and gained experience in working on them. My goal is to honour the work that the original makers did by carrying out sympathetic restorations and bringing old timepieces back to life.
